On Friday, December 12, 2025, Valley Oak Park lit up with holiday cheer as families from across Natomas gathered for our annual Santa Stop celebration β and what a magical evening it was!
Hosted in partnership with Councilmember Kaplanβs Office, this yearβs event brought together hundreds of community members for a night filled with connection, celebration, and festive fun. From the moment Santa arrived, smiles spread across the park, and the joyful energy never stopped.
πΈ A Santa Photo Experience to Remember
The highlight of the night β especially for the kids β was our FREE Santa photo op!
Families lined up to share their wish lists, snap photos, and make memories that will last well long past the holiday season. Seeing little ones light up at the chance to meet Santa reminded all of us why this event is so special.
While families waited, volunteers filled cups with hot cocoa, passed out cookies, and helped ensure every moment felt warm and welcoming.
πΆ Live Performances That Lit Up the Night
This yearβs entertainment lineup brought incredible talent to the stage, adding even more festive energy to Santa Stop. A huge thank you to our performers:
-
Natomas School of Music β sharing beautiful holiday melodies
-
Blakk Skarr β NP3 Elementary Hip-Hop Dance Team β lighting up the crowd with their high-energy routines
-
Nic Chan β performing on the acoustic guitar with beautiful vocals from Ava Cabatic
Each performer brought their unique spark, creating a joyful soundtrack that kept the park buzzing with excitement.

β€οΈ A New Chapter for Santa Stop β And an Incredible First Year
Although Santa Stop has been a beloved tradition in Natomas for years, this was the first time The Olivia Chan Foundation had the honor of managing the event. We are thrilled to share that it was a tremendous success β from the amazing turnout, to the communityβs enthusiasm, to families sharing that this was their favorite stop of the night.
The love, gratitude, and heartfelt conversations throughout the evening reaffirmed why this event matters and why our mission β to Help. Honor. Heal. β remains at the heart of everything we do.
π Thank You, Natomas Community
To our volunteers, performers, community partners, and every family who joined us β thank you for making Santa Stop 2025 unforgettable.
Your support brings comfort, joy, and hope to our community. Weβre already excited for next year and canβt wait to continue building this tradition together.
Warm holiday wishes from The Olivia Chan Foundation! πβ¨
