Some partnerships feel less like formal alliances and more like family—and that’s exactly how we feel about the Optimist Club of Sacramento.

From the very beginning of the Olivia Chan Foundation’s journey, the Optimist Club of Sacramento has stood by our side. Whether it was inviting us to speak at their meetings, sharing our story with other local clubs, or offering us space to table at their events, they have shown up for us in ways that matter deeply. Their ongoing support has not only helped us grow but reminded us that we’re never walking this path alone.

This spring, that support expanded even further through their partnership with Guzzetta Jewelers—another incredible example of how this community leads with heart. Through this collaboration, the Optimist Club invited us to be part of their annual golf tournament, where we were able to connect with attendees, share our mission, and raise awareness for youth and family grief support across Sacramento.

On top of these opportunities, the club has also generously contributed financially, helping us continue to offer safe, compassionate spaces for grieving children and teens. Their support is more than a donation—it’s a message to every young person walking through our doors that people care. That they are seen.

They believed in us before many even knew who we were, and their support has made a real difference in the lives of the families we serve.

To the Optimist Club and Guzzetta Jewelers—thank you. You are helping us bring light to some of the darkest moments in a child’s life. And that’s something we’ll never take for granted.
