Capital Cup Spotlight: Sharing Olivia’s Legacy on Audacy
We’re honored to share that our co-founders, Reina and Mel Chan, were recently featured on Audacy’s Sacramento Public File in a heartfelt interview alongside Alex Wicks of Bizhaven, one of our incredible champions and a Capital Cup participant.
In this moving conversation, Reina and Mel spoke candidly about the profound loss of their daughter, Olivia, and how her legacy inspired the founding of the Olivia Chan Foundation. What began as a response to unimaginable grief has grown into a community-driven effort to support children and families navigating loss through healing programs, support groups, and the dream of building Sacramento’s first grief center.
Alex Wicks also shared why he chose to represent the foundation in the L5 Investments Capital Cup, and how this initiative allows local leaders to fundraise for causes close to their hearts.
